The Albany Civilian Police Review Board has seen several members leave or resign in the last few months. The resignations occur as the board has come into conflict with the Albany Common Council and Mayor over the implementation of a voter-mandated re-organization of the board. It has proven difficult and complicated to move the review board into the city bureaucracy while maintaining its investigative independence. Moses Nagel spoke with long-time CPRB member Paul Collins-Hackett, also known as Batman, about the state of affairs.
