Ron Hose is the Founder and CEO of Coins.ph – a blockchain-enabled platform providing financial services to over 10 million unbanked users, including remittances, bill payments, and online transactions. He will share his journey as a maker, the lessons learned from his early startups that didn’t succeed, and how he achieved his first startup acquisition. Ron will also discuss his transition into venture capital and the insights gained as an investor. Under his leadership, Coins.ph experienced rapid growth, attracting major investors and reaching a milestone in 2019 with its acquisition by Indonesian tech giant Go-Jek—marking the largest tech exit to date in the Philippines and one of the largest for the region.
