Welcome to Season 4 - Episode 3!
This week, we’re heading to Wichita, Kansas. The quiet little town that wasn’t so quiet once BTK showed up.
Bind. Torture. Kill. That’s what he called himself. And for thirty years, he hid behind the mask of a husband, father, church leader, and city code enforcer while secretly turning his darkest fantasies into reality.
My sister Kirrah is joining me this week to unpack how a man that ordinary managed to fool everyone including his family, his congregation, and even the cops.
Grab your drink, because the poison in this episode is The Forbidden Sour.
If you want to drink with us, you’ll need bourbon, lemon juice, pomegranate syrup, and simple syrup.

The recipe for The Forbidden Sour is as follows:

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Pomegranate Liqueur (or Grenadine)
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Shake all ingredients with ice until chilled, then strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon twist if you’re feeling fancy.

Enjoy!
