When Xavier's grandfather Horace dies, he leaves Xavier a mysterious watch and note indicating it's a time machine. Still grieving and full of unanswered questions, Xavier impulsively travels back to 1976 to meet Horace Horton, his grandfather, as a young man. But when the Horace of legend never shows up, Xavier seeks out his research partner Virginia Duan to try and make sense of things. Xavier comes to realize Horace had secrets he never shared, leading Xavier on a journey of self-discovery as he seeks to understand the man he never really knew.
