Welcome back to our podcast journey through A. A. Milne's "Winnie-the-Pooh"! In Chapter V: In Which Piglet Meets a Heffalump, the Hundred Acre Wood characters are buzzing with talk of mysterious Heffalumps. Despite not knowing what they look like, Pooh Bear decides to catch a Heffalump and enlists Piglet to help.

Their "Cunning Trap" involves digging a Very Deep Pit. They choose honey as bait, Piglet agreeing to dig while Pooh fetches the honey. True to his nature as a Bear of Very Little Brain, Pooh "tests" the "HUNNY" jar extensively, consuming most of it before delivering it to Piglet for the trap. They plan to check it at six the next morning.

That night, Pooh is tormented by dreams of Heffalumps eating his honey. He returns to the pit, finishes the remaining honey, and accidentally gets his head stuck in the jar. Blinded and stuck, he bumps around, making "Ow!" noises.

Meanwhile, a nervous Piglet, worried about fierce Heffalumps, decides to check the trap alone. Peering into the pit, he sees the jar-stuck Pooh, misidentifies him as a "Horrible Heffalump," and screams, fleeing to Christopher Robin for help.

Christopher Robin, calm and understanding, accompanies Piglet back. He immediately recognizes the "Heffalump" as his "Silly old Bear" with his head trapped. The jar shatters, freeing Pooh. An embarrassed Piglet rushes home, while Christopher Robin and Pooh head off for breakfast, their loving bond reaffirmed.
