Gabriela Calderón, an Ecuadorian classical-liberal advocate, publisher at ElCato.org, and columnist for El Universo, explains that opposing dollarization has become political suicide. For now, she argues, the US dollar remains the most reliable currency, given its relevance in the global economy.
