Welcome to Bloomsbury Professional’s In Company with Courtney, hosted by Tom Courtney, author of The Law of Companies and consultant with Bloomsbury Professional.

In each episode Tom Courtney speaks with a leading light in Irish company law and corporate governance.

This podcast is of interest to everyone and anyone with a passing interest in company law, so whether you are a practicing lawyer or accountant, a business person who has to manage your interactions with the Companies Act 2014 or students of company law, I hope you find at least something of interest to you in each episode.

In this podcast I am delighted to be joined by Ian Drennan, Chief Executive Officer and sole appointed Member of the Corporate Enforcement Authority, or CEA.

In his position as top man at the CEA, Ian has extensive experience in the areas of investigation, regulation, and civil and criminal enforcement and of leading entities having a public interest mandate, having previously held the positions of Director of Corporate Enforcement and Chief Executive Officer of the Irish Auditing & Accounting Supervisory Authority (IAASA).
