I’m your host Vicki Main and in this episode Joanne Beedie, CEO and Founder of Helping Little Hands joins us.

Joanne is the CEO and Founder of Helping Little Hands, a passionate advocate and leader in embedding genuine consumer involvement in health research, especially in the fields of women’s and perinatal health.

She chairs the WIRF Community Involvement Advisory Board, where she leads a diverse group of consumers to ensure research reflects real community needs and delivers meaningful outcomes.

Joanne also contributes her expertise as a member of the WIRF Scientific Steering Committee and Grant Sub-Committee, and regularly presents keynotes at the WIRF Symposium.

As an Expert Mentor Contributor, she supports early and mid-career researchers to strengthen research quality through authentic community engagement, helping shape research that is both ethical and impactful.
