Today in in The Meadow we are talking all about parts work!
Parts work can be found in various therapies & modalities but it is based on the idea that understands a person's psyche is made up of various “parts”.
Each with its unique viewpoint, feelings, memories, and goals.
These different parts can be in conflict causing disharmony within yourself - the goal of these therapies is to learn how to identify & integrate all parts of yourself & give them all a seat at the table.
Questions to ask yourself:
1. Name the Part.
2. What does the part feel like emotionally?
3. What does the part look like?
4. What does the part feel like in your body and where?
5. What does it say?
6. What is that message saying to you?
7 . How does it make you behave?
8. What does it want?
