Ethan Knight is the Executive Director of the Gap Year Association. In 1996, back before gap years were a thing in the US, he took a gap year to India, Nepal, and Tibet. The experience changed his life and he’s pretty much been working in gap year programming ever since. In this episode we cover a lot of the research around gap years. For example, young adults who do gap years graduate from college faster and are much happier in their careers. You will notice right away that Ethan and I have a lot in common and had a blast talking about how gap years have been so impactful in our own lives. Thank you for listening in and enjoy the podcast!
