Many people are unaware what psychological testing really means. Dr. Hyken and I have a short discussion around the different kinds of testing and how it all works. Dr. Hyken earned a PhD in psychology from Capella University, an Educational Specialist degree from Webster University, an MA in counseling from Saint Louis University, teaching certification from Washington University and a BA in communications and a BS in marketing from Saint Louis University. After working more than fifteen years as a teacher, school counselor, psychological examiner, and school administrator, Dr. Hyken founded Educational + Psychotherapy Services, LLC, and specializes in psychoeducational evaluations, ADHD assessments, individual/family therapy, and educational therapy.
