How do you decide what to renovate or rebuild. Should you tear it down? What makes a building worth preserving? We ask the architect Alex Shuey who is a project leader with a renovation and resotration firm in New York City. He is a graduate of the architecture program at University of North Carolina Charlotte and has worked in Nova Scotia, where we met. He is another friend on the show and very happy to be able to talk to him more about what he has been up to. This podcast was recorded in a quite echo-y room.
