Following the worldwide success of their 1985 release “Welcome To The Real World”, which featured two number one hits and another that cracked the top 10, Mr. Mister reconvened to create their follow-up, “Go On…”. Released in 1987, the album was a continuation of the same, incredible songwriting and musicianship, touching on social, political, and spiritual messages, in a decade where materialism was front and center. “Go On…” wasn’t the commercial success that its predecessor enjoyed, but to Mr. Mister fans, this collection of songs is just as powerful, with timeless lyrics that are still relevant today. On this episode of Inside MusiCast, we’ll discuss this incredible album track-by-track, and we’re pleased to welcome band members Richard Page, Steve George, and lyricist John Lang.
