No sound check this week. Sorry, Not that we didn’t want too! Nick is at the RMV getting a “Real ID” and Matt had to fill in at PETA, (Pasta Enthusiasts Taking Action). With his help they may get that Torchio.

Now On with the show:

We swore this one would never see the light of day. Not because of lawsuits (though those were threatened). Not because of technical issues (though Nick recorded half of it with a harmonica mic). But because the 2/5/22 episode got… weird.

Like, “Is this a podcast or a séance?” weird.

This is the episode where:

  • Matt introduces a theory that Phish is slowly tuning the Earth’s core using first-set transitions.
  • Nick tries to invent a new time signature and accidentally erases two minutes of real time.
  • The phrase “banana glowstick incident” is used casually and often.
  • A listener texted in coordinates. Matt followed them. We’re still not ready to talk about it.

Also, this was the only episode ever interrupted mid-recording by what we can only describe as a sentient lot shirt trying to plug its SoundCloud.

There’s no intro. There’s no outro. There’s just this tape. Raw. Chaotic. Prehistoric.

2/5/22. The forbidden episode. Now available against all better judgment. Let’s go.

If you are new always listen to the latest show first!
