Thursday, May 1 — This Day in Phish - Tory (Sort of)

Matt and Nick are back and it’s May 1, so naturally we’re covering a historic date: April 27. Four days ago. Why? Because Phish-Tory isn't about math—it's about feelings, vibes, and accidentally deleting the actual episode we planned to use.

It was Hollywood Bowl Night 3, a night people have already started claiming the crowed was “impotent.” Matt and Nick agree... but they are definitely now "impotent" about the news that broke about an hour before set 1.

So, Phish won the Rock Hall fan vote and then got exactly one extra ballot in return. Exactly one. Out of a thousand. Like winning the lottery and being paid in coupons. Like winning a marathon and getting a high-five from the organizer's assistant. Like...well, you get it. We’re fine. Not bitter at all.

Also, today is May 1. Real history:

  • Empire State Building opened, 1931
  • International Workers’ Day
  • Pluto continues its planetary identity crisis

Four days ago counts.
This is Phish - Tory. Let’s go.
