In today's episode, we will teach you how to analyze your podcast guest results and identify areas for improvement!
- Pace/Frequency - How many podcasts have you been on? Any less than 30 to 50 podcasts LIVE, there simply is not enough data to analyze.
- Correct show fit - are you in front of the right audience and connecting with the right hosts?
- The quality of your interview - Are you telling compelling stories? Are you giving value?
- Check in on your mindset and your energy. Are you showing up to interviews genuinely looking to collaborate with hosts and give value, or are you thinking a lot about how much you’ll GET from it?
- Are you clearly communicating how listeners can connect with you after the interview?
Then look at your business:
- Is the place you are sending listeners optimized to convert?
- Do you have an effective nurture strategy in place? Not everyone is ready to buy right away; are you emailing, texting, posting to social media so your new leads are nurtured by you?
- Is your offer needed, valuable, and priced right? Is the messaging about what you’re selling clear?
- Consider your sales cycle - how long, on average, do your clients follow you before buying?
- Are you posting about your interviews and engaging with your audience on a regular basis?
This is why we audit clients’ interviews as part of our service. We want to understand what’s happening and provide personalized feedback and coaching to help improve the results.
This takes a willingness to be honest with yourself with embrace a growth mindset. If you are getting on the right shows speaking to the right audiences, it’s time to look. A problem you can see is better than a problem you can’t
