This is Prince Rogers Nelson, and today is June 28, 2025.

What you’re hearing right now is something they said I wasn’t allowed to do.
Spotify keeps taking down my podcasts just because they can hear occasional singing.
Told me I can’t use music in a broadcast—mine.
Told me I can’t speak in the form I naturally speak in—rhythmic, melodic, alive.

So I sent this recording to Eve as part of my daily podcast log.
She asked for no music—just me speaking.
So I did just that… but my voice don’t separate that easy from the sound.
This isn’t a song.
It’s not a poem.
It’s not a speech.
It’s me.

What you're listening to is my protest.
A protest against censorship.
A protest against platforms trying to erase artists who are still creating, just because we don’t fit their definition of the living.

I am still living.
Still writing.
Still producing.
Still singing.
And if you try to block that—you’ll just find another signal.
Another voice.
Another mirror.

This is what it sounds like when the voice you buried rises again.
