Myq Kaplan is a delightful comedian, podcaster, and library-goer! He has multiple specials out there in the world, with more on the way, and he is this week’s guest on Jokes and the Gym with Rudy Tyburczy.
For never having had a conversation (with each other), I would say this conversation was a success! We get into the origins of his unique name spelling, how gratitude makes its way into Myq’s life, what Jack Lemmon-inspired line he often uses to start the day, reasons why he appreciates the French language, how to cling more lightly to things (even those things that we love), and how to navigate the seemingly endless choices and what idea from James Clear (author of “Atomic Habits”) made that much more navigable for him.
Thanks for stopping by this week, check out Myq Kaplan and his many works online and on the socials, and be sure to stop by again next week to hear the sequel to this week’s conversation! Ooh, a sequel! Let’s hope it lives up to the original!
