We might prefer it were otherwise, but suffering and struggle are key components in our growth. The Bible identifies a maturity that comes through hardship (see Romans 5:1-5 and James 1:2-4). We shouldn’t be surprised – even Jesus, “Son though he was…learned obedience from what he suffered”. (Hebrews 5:8) This seminar will consider how to engage well with our own sufferings and to help others do likewise.
