Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. After playing at this, my favorite club in Berlin, so many times during the last couple of years, I got the honor to fill one slot of the 20 years anniversary of our beloved GOLDENGATE! I was one of the last to play this long birthday weekend and when I arrived, the club looked and smelled like I remembered it from my first times beeing there, years ago. People were dancing, laughing, smiling, drinking, cueing at the toilet, sweating their souls out and just being happy all over the place... I loved the vibe, during my set, but also during the other sets... as always! Felt great! And the excitement ironically felt so soothing... giving me goosebumps thinking back to it! THANK YOU, GOLDENGATE! THANK YOU FOR SO MANY YEARS OF JOY! And cheers to so many more years to come <3
