On today’s episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with screenwriter Micho Robert Rutare about his work on Hulu’s latest animated film, Predator: Killer of Killers, directed by Dan Trachtenberg. Micho shared the origin of the project and how his passion for history helped shape its unique time-traveling narrative across iconic eras.
Micho Robert Rutare is a writer, director, and producer known for genre films and TV. He began at The Asylum with titles like Meteor Apocalypse and Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus, and later worked on the series Z Nation. Most recently, he co-wrote Predator: Killer of Killers (2025), blending historical settings with sci-fi horror in Hulu’s animated anthology.
