Philly drivers, you have been warned. Starting Wednesday, automatic cameras on SEPTA buses will begin generating tickets and fines for vehicles stopped in bus lanes. The cameras on 152 SEPTA buses and 38 trolleys use AI technology to flag drivers who double-park or block bus stops. Warnings have been issued for the last three weeks, but the Philadelphia Parking Authority says actual enforcement begins May 7, with drivers fined $76 for violations in Center City and $51 outside the center of town.
