The man charged with firebombing Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro's mansion will be in court today in Harrisburg. Cody Balmer is expected to enter a plea on dozens of charges, including attempted homicide, arson and burglary for the attack in April. Investigators say the 38-year-old scaled a fence, broke windows at the governor's residence, went inside, and torched the place while Shapiro and his family slept. Prosecutors say Balmer told police he would have beaten the governor to death with a sledgehammer if he saw him. The Shapiros, who are Jewish, had just hosted a Passover dinner in the mansion. In a 911 call, Balmer referenced the war in Gaza. Family members said Balmer struggled with mental illness -- something he denied to the judge during his arraignment.
