Tonight at midnight is the deadline for Philadelphia's blue-collar union to go on strike if it doesn't have a deal on a new contract. District Council 33 says it is still at the negotiating table. After a marathon negotiating session on Friday, the union made progress on what it calls minor issues. But, it says the city still hasn't presented a financial package that it finds acceptable. Mayor Cherelle Parker defends the city's offer, saying the union would see a pay increase of 12% by the end of her first term in office. She says that would be the largest one-term pay increase for DC 33 in more than three decades. The union is planning to hold a rally tonight at 5 outside City Hall.
