U.S. Policies & Global What-the-Hecks

Jay kicked things off with some spicy takes on recent U.S. foreign policy—mainly, “Why are we bombing Iran again?” He had high hopes that Trump would at least not start another war, but alas. He pointed out the double standard: bombs for Iran, crickets for Syria and Nigeria. Apparently, some countries get the “meh” treatment unless they’re trending.

Mexico: Paradise With a Side of Cartels

We gave props to the beauty of Mexico and its people… then immediately added, “but don’t go there.” Jay described it as a full-blown narco state with stats that sound like they came out of an action movie—over 400,000 killed, 60,000 missing, and zero chance you should believe your cousin who says Cabo is ‘totally safe.’

Federal Lands & Federal Shenanigans

Senator Mike Lee floated the idea of selling off U.S. federal lands—because apparently nothing says patriotism like a clearance sale on national parks. Thankfully, the idea tanked. Jay suspects Lee’s motives were less “freedom” and more “foreign investors with checkbooks.”

Culture, Crime, and… Bacon?

The group talked about a Muslim socialist immigrant winning the Democratic primary in NYC. Then they discussed Sharia law rumors in Dearborn. Would eating bacon out in the open be considered a crime? Surprise, we don't care and we are eating the bacon.

We wrapped things up with an upcoming trip to see the Mothman statue—and yes, we are absolutely touching his legendary, sculpted behind.
