Today’s word of the day is ‘statistics’ as in numbers as in facts as in predictions as in MLB as in baseball as in Wild Card. Let’s take a look at where these series stand. Three elimination games. The Dodgers swept the Reds. Baseball! We start with the Yankees and Red Sox. The Yankees took Game 2, but the biggest play happened when the 3rd base coach for the Red Sox held up a runner when he had a very easy chance to score. Why? (30:30) The Dodgers swept the Reds. This series could have been an email. (34:15) Review: Boyhood. (40:30) NPPOD. (43:00) Brian Snitker stepped down as manager of the Braves. His contract was up and he decided it’s time. Now what for the Braves? A terrible season, but a great roster.
