Or another way of looking at this is,..Hello and Welcome to Season 2 Episode 1.

I wonder if that makes my absence sound as if it's planned? Alas, it wasn't. I let other things get in the way and then wallowed in a cycle of guilt and procrastination telling myself that I'll get another Show up soon....that I'll get to it later. 9 months later and enough is enough.

This could have been a longer show but I wanted to make this first one, light and less rambly, so while I'm taking you right to the beginning of this year, I wanted to share a little more about me, where I was, and the great sense of community when after 30 years, I took my family to visit the remotest island in the world....Tokelau.

It's a beautiful atoll with beautiful people, most I'm related to. If it sounds familiar, it's because Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern recently visited there after 15 years since the last Prime Minister visited. It's a big deal when you realise that Tokelauans are New Zealand citizens and after such a long wait they finally got to spend some time with their Prime Minister.

Following my own personal visit, I created the #VisitTokelau Page on Facebook. Not to document my holiday but to share information to others who may want to visit this piece of isolated paradise. So I set about answering one question - "How To Get To Tokelau?" Check it out yourself. You'll find tips and ideas to help make your stay in Samoa enjoyable and if you travel onto Tokelau, help set expectations.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy my trip down memory lane and it's great to start publishing again.
