我们要讲的成语叫“物美价廉”

wǒ men | yào | jiǎng | de | chéng yǔ | jiào | “wù měi jià lián”

The idiom we’re going to talk about is "wù měi jià lián" (excellent quality at a reasonable price).

从字面就可以看出它的意思了

cóng | zì miàn | jiù | kě yǐ | kàn chū | tā | de | yì si | le

You can tell its meaning from the literal sense.

物品好，价格低

wù pǐn | hǎo | jià gé | dī

The product is good and the price is low.

物，指的是商品、物品或服务

wù | zhǐ de shì | shāng pǐn | wù pǐn | huò | fú wù

"物" refers to goods, items, or services.

美，指的是品质优良

měi | zhǐ de shì | pǐn zhì | yōu liáng

"美" means excellent quality.

价，指的是价格

jià | zhǐ de shì | jià gé

"价" refers to the price.

廉，指的是低廉、实惠

lián | zhǐ de shì | dī lián | shí huì

"廉" means low and affordable.

也可以说“价廉物美”

yě | kě yǐ | shuō | “jià lián wù měi”

It can also be said as "jià lián wù měi" (affordable price with excellent quality).

也就是性价比高

yě jiù shì | xìng jià bǐ | gāo

In other words, it has a high cost-performance ratio.

我们购买商品会追求物美价廉
