Dr. Lev is board certified in emergency and addiction medicine, and was the first Chief Medical Officer of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. She currently chairs the San Diego Community Response to Drug Overdose (CReDO) Task Force, is the current executive director of the Independent Emergency Physicians Consortium, and is founder and Vice President of IASIC, the International Academy on the Science and Impact of Cannabis. Dr. Lev also hosts her own fantastic podcast, High Truths on Drugs and Addiction.
