This week's guest LUCY SPEED plays talented farm manager, Stella Pryor in BBC Radio 4's THE ARCHERS - the world's longest running (and best - not biased at all here 😉) soap.

Lucy's career spans theatre, television, film and radio, and began when she was just a child. Lucy has played a multitude of roles across so many genres including DS Stevie Moss in The Bill and Bec Baker—Peter Kay’s wife—in his BBC sitcom Cradle to the Grave as well as countless other fantastic characters in a career that demonstrates her great versatility.

She brings a blend of warmth, wit, and emotional intelligence to every role she plays, and—as you’ll hear—she’s deeply thoughtful about the human experience behind the craft.

In this conversation, Lucy opens up about what it was like working with the legendary Julie Walters, how being an empath has shaped her both personally and professionally, and her hopes for leaving a legacy that changes the way we understand and respond to bullying in everyday life.
