Here at MARK AS PLAYED we got together over Thanksgiving and did something we haven't done in ages... say nice things about Netflix. And while the release of a new Coen Bros. joint certainly helps, we also have a couple of great movie podcasts to do the heavy lifting on singing the praises for this streaming titan. The always popular SLASH FILMCAST questions Martin Scorsese biting the hand that feeds him with the upcoming Netflix release of THE IRISHMAN, while over at FOUR SEASONS OF FILM there's a debate over the structure/release pattern for THE BALLAD OF BUSTER SCRUGGS... which just happens to be our film focused on this week.
