Is AI Going to Take Over Marketing? Let’s Talk About It

Lately, I’ve been having a lot of conversations with business owners and marketers who are wondering the same thing - is AI going to take over marketing? And more importantly, should we be worried about our jobs?

In this episode of Marketing Espresso, I’m sharing my honest thoughts on the rise of AI in marketing. Yes, it’s a powerful tool. It can speed things up, help us brainstorm content ideas, and even write a first draft or two. But here’s the thing: AI doesn’t have your lived experience, your memories, or the stories that connect you with your audience. And that’s what truly sets your marketing apart.

We’re seeing a shift away from overly polished, generic content and back toward real connection. People are craving authenticity. They’re showing up at in-person events again. They’re spending less time on social media and more time building relationships. So no, AI won’t replace marketers - but it will challenge us to get clearer on what makes our brand actually stand out.

“If we’re all doing the same same, you’re just going to blend in and be a bit boring.”
