Hosts: Sarah (they/them) and Sisi (she/her)

Sarah and Sisi discuss feminism in Iceland. From the 1922 election of Ingibjorg Bjarnason, Iceland's first female elected member of parliament, who paved the way for Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir, the worlds first elected female head of state, to the 1975 strike that birthed the "women's Day Off" social change initiative. According to the Borgen Project Iceland has been ranked the best country for gender equality for 12 years in a row.
