Today we are discussing the recently released horror-musical extravaganza, “Sinners” (2025). Written and directed by the acclaimed Ryan Coogler and starring not one but two Michael B Jordans as twins (Smoke & Stack) returning to their Mississippi hometown after years of working in Chicago with Al Capone. This is 1932 in the Mississippi Delta and the twins aim to open a juke joint with their musically gifted cousin and other close associates from their past — that is, until vampires intervene. Gorgeously shot on IMAX film, exquisitely acted, and with the best soundtrack of any film this year, “Sinners” is an instant classic. Let’s get into it!
