It's the 4th of July weekend as the beach town of Amity Island prepares for one of it's most profitable times. That is until a giant great white shark begins terrorizing and killing it's residents. It is now up to police Chief Martin Brody, marine biologist Matt Hooper and professional shark hunter Quint to take down this creature before it causes any more harm.
