John George Haigh, known as "The Acid Bath Murderer," was a notorious English serial killer born in 1909. His criminal activities spanned the late 1930s to the early 1940s. Haigh's method of murder was particularly gruesome and unique—he would dissolve his victims' bodies in sulfuric acid to destroy any evidence of his crimes.
