Of course, the GM decided this needed to be a challenge! And so the puzzle began, ending quickly with great frustration as Charles Smoot decided it would be better to leap off the 80-foot cliff, literally. And thus we will be picking up after the fact with even more consequences and Temporal Dissonance!
