In this episode of Moms Unboxed, I emphasize the importance of body awareness in enhancing self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Instead of shaming oneself for physical discomforts like bloating, I advocate for tuning into the body's sensations with tenderness and compassion.

Have you ever been critical of yourself for not going to the gym and then turning that around on your body by being unkind?

Or have you been completely unaware of what feels pleasant to your body?

I suggest using mindful practices such as brushing a feather or ice cube across different body parts to notice sensations and their effects.

Body awareness helps in recognizing what feels pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral, fostering a non-judgmental and curious approach to self-care.

By understanding sensations and their triggers, you can better manage your physical and emotional well-being.

The practice I chat about not only improves self-awareness but also enhances relationships with others by effectively communicating one's needs and preferences.

Furthering your body awareness is a form of self-love. Tune in today to amplify the connection you need to have with your body.

Until the next time Sunshine đŸ«¶
