In an age of sports journalism where ESPN canceled Bob Ley’s Outside the Lines and HBO/Warner Discovery canceled Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, and the recent New York Post report by Ryan Glasspiegel that Around the Horn will be canceled before the 2025 football season, sports journalism has been marginalized. In response, John Camacho and Zack Hamilton created The Moral Questions of Sports to address the intersection of sport, business, legal, and moral issues.

One of these controversial topics is Sports Cheating.
To address it, we discuss his paper, “Enhancement and Cheating: Implications for Policy in Sport.” We also discuss different forms of cheating including the NBA’s Load Management Policy, NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles’ Tush-Push, University of Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh’s Sign Stealing Scandal.
Professor Caouette is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Providence College and also teaches at Northeastern University and Rutgers University. He teaches a variety of courses in ethics, social and political philosophy, the history of philosophy, philosophy and technology, and critical thinking. He is the Co-Editor of Books, The Moral Psychology of Compassion and Free Will and Moral Responsibility. The working title of his long-term project is 'Free Will and Why it Matters.'
