Over the four decades that encompass the career of this CCM icon, Steven Curtis and his wife, Mary Beth, have also experienced heartache, including the tragic loss of their daughter, Maria at the age of five. It was a tragedy that God used to launch a ministry to care for orphans by engaging the Church to reduce barriers to adoption.
