Building a Specialized EOD Gear Business w/ Steve Cassidy:: Ep 215 MMTBP

In this episode, we talk to Steve Cassidy about his journey from the Navy to building a specialized gear company. His background includes an early interest in football that led them to Tennessee Tech University, followed by an unexpected decision to join the Navy at age 25.

During his time in the Navy, he gained unique experiences, including 42 days at sea, diving, and jump school training. This diverse military background ultimately inspired the creation of the company, EOD Gear, which focuses on providing high-quality, customizable equipment for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) professionals.

Steve shares insights into the challenges of starting and growing a niche business, from navigating government contracts to expanding manufacturing capabilities. He also reflects on the cultural differences and personal experiences of living abroad in Italy.

Beyond business, our conversation delves into perspectives on politics, society, and the importance of finding one's true passion in life. Steve’s story serves as an inspiring example of how an unconventional path can lead to unexpected success and fulfillment.
