On December 7th, 1958 the Martin family headed out to the Columbia River Gorge to gather items for their Christmas decorations. The family consisted of Kenneth Martin, his wife Barbara Martin, and his three daughters; Barbara, Virginia, and Susan.
What was supposed to be a day trip ended with the entire family missing. Their disappearance would launch one of the largest manhunt in Oregon's history at the time and would be considered one of Oregon's "most baffling" cases.
