šŸŽ™ļø Episode Title: Unpacking the Trinity: From Genesis to Glory

Description:
The word Trinity doesn’t appear in the Bible—but the fingerprints of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are everywhere. In this episode, Todd and Laura float through the Garden of Eden, land at the Jordan River, and ride a theological rollercoaster through Ephesians 1 to show how Scripture reveals the triune nature of God from start to finish.

We start in Genesis 1:26, where God says, ā€œLet us make man in our imageā€ā€”a divine hint that there’s more going on than meets the eye. From creation to salvation, we see the dance: the Father initiates, the Son carries it out, and the Spirit breathes it into being.

Then we splash into the baptism of Jesus, where all three persons of the Trinity show up in glorious unity—Heaven opens, the Spirit descends, and the Father speaks.

We also unpack Ephesians 1, where Paul lays out the beautiful roles each person of the Trinity plays in our redemption. And finally, we time-travel to the early church where the Nicene Creed was forged in fire to defend the truth: God is one in essence, three in person—eternally in relationship and glorification.

šŸ”‘ Key Takeaways:

  • The Bible shows the Trinity in action, even if the word isn’t there.

  • The Nicene Creed helps us guard against heresies and half-truths.

  • Grasping the Trinity helps us grasp God’s love, purpose, and our identity in Him.

Keywords: Trinity in the Bible, Genesis 1:26 explained, Jesus’ baptism Trinity, roles of Father Son Spirit, Nicene Creed meaning, Christian doctrine of the Trinity, Ephesians 1 Trinity, biblical foundation of the Trinity, Trinity and salvation, God's love and the Trinity
