Leela Sinha (ze/zir) joins me today to talk about zir work with the Intensives Institute and what it means to be an intensive. I have always identified as an intense person, so the intensive framework spoke to me.
Leela shares that ze created the intensive framework because it makes people feel "less broken". So many of us intensives feel like we are "too much". We do not deal in small feelings. We are risk takers, innovators, and leaders. We go hard and come back for more. Often this causes conflict, especially in relationships, which Leela speaks to.
We end with a discussion about intensive leaders can protect their boundaries and keep laughing, even as the world around us is experiencing collective trauma.
