The first part was easy -- take Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter with the third overall pick in the NFL Draft. And that's exactly what New York Giants GM Joe Schoen did, before heading to the second part of his puzzle.

The free agent signings of veteran quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston had allowed Schoen to feel much more comfortable about the upcoming season, but he still did not have a young franchise quarterback.

The Giants found their potential answer by trading up from the second round (34th overall) to Houston's spot at No. 25 and grabbed grab Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart. It also cost the Giants a third-round pick this year (No. 99) and a 2026 third-round choice.

Schoen entered the draft with eight selections, including the third overall and five inside the first 105 picks (through Round 4). The general manger had told the media he saw edge rusher, defensive line, running back - and to a lesser degree - cornerback as the draft's deepest positions. So what comes next, now that he has five remaining picks?

Ric Serritella of All Access Football and the NFL Draft Bible joined host Paul Dottino on a special morning edition of the Big Blue Breakdown Live to address how the Giants handled the first round and how they may navigate the rest of the draft. Fans also participated via chat, audio or video call.
