While awaiting trial for two years, on trumped up charges, Paul experiences the unrivaled might and power of God which allows him to use his own difficult experience to pray, witness, and encourage fellow believers. The lessons he communicates through his experience and his writings are not only for those in his time but also for those who seek to follow Jesus, today.
This week's teaching is by David Pearo, a pastor with The Salvation Army for 33 years. David is Meghan Robinson’s father. Together, he and his wife Beth have ministered in 3 Churches in Ontario and Quebec, been on staff at their denominational seminary and are currently serving in their denominational Pastoral Services Department where they have been privileged of being pastors to other pastors, in Quebec, Ontario and the Prairie provinces.
In recent years, David received his Qualified Mediator designation with which he serves church leadership in managing congregational conflict.
David and Beth are blessed to be part of a beautiful family, all of whom love Jesus and are seeking to grow in their relationship with him. David has three amazing grandsons (with one more grandchild on the way!) who affectionately call him “Bubba”. He is a passionate outdoorsman with a love of camping, west coast salmon fishing, scuba diving, traveling with Beth, and eating anything extra extra spicy.
