"Don't Let's Go To The Dogs Tonight" is a South African drama film written and directed by Embeth Davidtz in her feature directorial debut. The film is based on Alexandra Fuller's 2001 memoir, which recounts the experiences of her White Zimbabwean family following the Rhodesian Bush War. The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and received positive reviews for its writing, direction and performances. Davidtz was kind enough to speak with us about her work and experience making the film, which you can listen to below. Please be sure to check out the film, which will be released in theaters on July 11th from Sony Pictures Classics. Thank you, and enjoy!
