Today’s word of the day is ‘final four’ as in the Mariners as in the Blue Jays as in Seattle as in Toronto as in the ALCS! The Mariners took the first game 3-1 behind great pitching and the big players making big moments. Cal Raleigh homered. Jorge Polanco picked up two RBI. The Blue Jays couldn’t hit. Long series though! (19:20) The Dodgers are going with Blake Snell and then Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2. Where is Ohtani? Well, the Dodgers have a plan for that. What about the Brewers? An opener?
