Dr. Harvey receives a call from the Floor Nurse in Ward 8 saying that Edward Kirk is being escorted to your office. "Also," she says, "Dr. Benson asked me to advise you against being alone with the patient for any length of time. It may be dangerous, sir." Dr. Harvey replies "Well, Kirk's behavior has been exemplary for the past three months, and the shock treatments he has been receiving seem to be doing him some good. Tell Dr. Benson I can handle the patient very well." Soon, an orderly brings the patient into the doctor's office. Dr. Harvey tells Edward to have a seat, and dismisses the orderly. During the discourse, Edward says that he would like to send a message to his girlfriend, and asks the doctor to write down what he dictates. The last line of the message is something the doctor does not want to hear.
