Joe L Barnes is a former member of multi-Grammy-winning Gospel powerhouse Maverick City Music and a dynamic worship leader at The Shepherd's Tent in Georgia. Now focusing on his solo career, he recently released his album "The Good Shepherd" andsingles like "No Greater Love" with Limoblaze & "Wind of Love" with Maryanne J George. Alongside his music, Barnes is passionate about teaching others songwriting to help them release their authentic sound.
In April of 2020, Joe L, along side Maverick City released the song, “Promises” that reignited hope and reminded many of the faithfulness of God. It was nominated for “Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year” in the 2020 GMA Dove Awards. He has collaborated with other incredible artists like Tasha Cobbs, Elevation Rhythm, JJ Hairston and so many more!.
